Dear Joey Family,
What a great time we had at Joey to the World 16! We thank all of you for coming and F.R.O.G.

We are so appreciative of the headliner, the lecturers and the educational suppliers that take the time and make the effort to travel to Houston. Traveling is getting to be more and more of a challenge. And, we are so blessed to see you travel to Sagemont to further your ability to glorify God through Laughter. It is fun to see you return year after year and we delight in those that join us for the first time.

The Joey to the World Staff tries our best to meet each of your needs. With the help of Sagemont Church, the Acteens, the Security Team and the Maintenance Staff, we are fortunate to be able to continue to have Joey to the World in a facility that accommodates our needs. Sagemont Church’s mission statement is to be “Living Proof of a Loving God to a Watching World”. They support what we do wholeheartedly.

That brings us to one of the reasons for this letter to our Joey Family. After the convention, we meet with our church liaison, Roy Guel. At that time, we conclude one year and plan for the next. At this meeting, we were met with a challenge. In 2011, Sagemont Church will be in a major construction mode. The Sagemont Church staff advised us that with this situation it would be a wise decision to have Joey to the World 17 in 2012. After a lengthy discussion in which we considered what is best for our convention, we came to a mutual agreement that we would take a break in 2011 and pick up Joey to the World in 2012.

We hope you will continue to practice, read, attend opportunities and apply your talent. Before you know it, we will be sending out registration forms for 2012. Please continue to check our website www.joeytotheworld.org for the latest and greatest news from Joey to the World. As is said in the Circus World, “The Show Must Go On!”. And we will! See you in 2012!
